NC3 Chairman of the Board, Bryan Albrecht speaks at the White House Summit on Community Colleges in Indianapolis, Ind.
Gateway President Bryan Albrecht recently spoke at the regional meeting of the White House Summit on Community Colleges.
The event was held March 23rd on the campus of Ivy Tech Community College in Indianapolis, Ind. The summit was intended to hear from college administration and faculty along with business and industry on what the partners can do to improve workforce training at a national level.
President Albrecht spoke on a panel titled High Impact Practices: Community Colleges and Business Partnerships. President Albrecht was excited to discuss the event; “It was an honor to share Gateways’ many success stories about our business partnerships. The relationship with local companies like Snap-on Incorporated and SC Johnson-A Family Company are national models of excellence.”
Gateway is providing leadership for a national training network of colleges called NC3. NC3 is dedicated to provide high quality training and certification which is transferable across industry sectors. NC3’s network of education providers and corporations support, advance, and validates new and emerging technology skills in the transportation, aviation, and energy industry sectors.
