Cleveland, OH – NC3 and Lincoln Electric were proud to launch the first train-the-trainer event for welding instructors at the Lincoln Electric Welding Technology & Training Center in Cleveland, OH.
25 instructors from top NC3 Lincoln Electric Education Partner Schools (LEEPS) around the country took part in this multi-faceted certification program and were trained on the most comprehensive and relevant welding education tools and resources available in the industry.
The week-long training was designed to build on the foundational knowledge of traditional welding practices, educate instructors on the latest equipment and techniques, and raise overall welding education standards across the nation.
NC3 partnered with Lincoln Electric late last year to develop and issue the LEEPS program’s world-class industry certifications, ensuring strong national standards for welding instructor training, classroom curriculum, competency labs, qualification exams and digital certification issuance. Certifications are in alignment with standards set by the American Welding Society, a recognized authority in welding education and training.
The next NC3 welding train-the-trainer opportunity will be held on July 22-26, 2019 at Gateway Technical College in Kenosha, WI.
