With New Industry Partners and Thousands of CTE Programs Served

KENOSHA, Wis. (April 29, 2019) The National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3) along with the other members of the CTE Coalition have made unprecedented contributions to Keep CTE Moving during the first handful weeks of COVID19 social distancing measurements.

As a founding member of the CTE Coalition along with Lincoln Electric, SkillsUSA, Tooling U-SME, Haas Automation, and camInstructor only four short weeks ago, the group of industry and CTE organizations now includes 18 members and has provided CTE curriculum to well over one thousand schools and tens of thousands of students across the nation.  The coalition also includes NC3’s 12 other industry partners committed to supporting CTE programs and offering significant portions of NC3 certification curriculum to schools during this time.

NC3’s Associate Director, Dan Ramirez, notes that, “The NC3 team and the other industry leaders have responded in a faster and more coordinated way than any other CTE initiative in history,” and added, “when each day truly mattered for thousands of CTE instructors across the country struggling to rapidly transition to distance learning, the CTE Coalition mobilized over two dozen of the leading organizations in the country to help meet the need”.

NC3 and the CTE Coalition now look to the remainder of the summer to help instructors every step of the way as they continue their remote instruction and begin preparing for the recommencement of classes on campus this Fall.
