What job(s) did you do before you started working with NC3?

Prior to joining NC3, I worked as the Assistant Director at a national community organization working supporting secondary and post-secondary schools across the country. For many years before that, I worked at a national nonprofit organization providing educational curriculum and training to school districts.

In your opinion, what are 3 words to describe NC3?

Dedicated
Innovative
Ambitious

How do you define success?

Outside of achieving collective and individual goals, success, in my mind, is defined by knowing that the choices I made, the words that I say, and the actions that I take are helping others lead better lives.

What does true leadership mean to you?

I think a true leader is not someone with the most followers but the one who creates the most leaders. They are full of optimism, have a high level of confidence, hold themselves and others accountable, inspire others to achieve, make tough decisions, and produce the very best from their team.

What is your proudest moment at NC3?

During my first year on the job, I rolled out eight certifications. I had a fantastic group of Master Instructors as well as support from our industry partners and the NC3 team. It was a nice boost of confidence.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

I owned and operated a restaurant for five years right out of college.

What is on your wish list for the next 5 years with NC3?

I would like to continue to grow within the organization. I would like the programs I manage to explode in a positive way further impacting students at NC3 schools nationwide.
