NC3 Staff Spotlight: Haley Lechner
May 24, 2021On Saturday, May 8, NC3 was presented the 2021 Distinguished Partner Award at the annual Fit for Growth Gala host by the Kenosha School of Technology Enhanced Curriculum (KTEC).
The Distinguished Partner award is a traditional part of KTEC’s Fit for Growth Gala. It recognizes the community partners who have invested their time, resources, and expertise to provide KTEC students with hands-on, real-world experiences. Some past winners have been Snap-on Incorporated, Carthage College, and Junior Achievement.
The gala is held annually in the Spring to help raises funds for new and innovative programs at the Kenosha School of Technology Enhanced Curriculum. The event is a way to feature KTEC’s accomplishments and share new and exciting programs for the next year. The evening began with a focus on what KTEC means to students by hearing from KTEC alumni and current students about how KTEC has helped and impacted their lives and learning. And the evening closed by highlighting the work of KTEC’s amazing industry and educational partners including NC3 and the annual Distinguished Partner Award.
NC3 is incredibly proud to achieve this year’s Distinguished Partner Award from the Kenosha School of Technology Enhanced Curriculum. NC3 Executive Director, Roger Tadajewski shares,
NC3 was founded by community and technical college presidents but today, fifty percent of our network represents secondary institutions. Now more than ever, it’s time to promote career and technical education in early education and provide opportunities of STEAM and CTE to the young minds who are our future. NC3 is honored to work alongside education innovators and leaders like the administration and faculty at KTEC.
