NC3 is excited to announce that another school has adopted the Thermo King program, Tennessee College of Applied Technology Elizabethton (TCAT Elizabethton). Both Thermo King units, C-600 and S-600, have arrived at the school and are ready to go. TCAT Elizabethton Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Richard Church is very excited about this new opportunity. 

“TCAT-Elizabethton is excited to partner with Thermo King and NC3 to lead the way as a first-class training facility for these valuable stackable certifications. Not only will we be able to offer these credentials to our own Diesel and HVAC students, we will be able to host national training events and help train local business and industry professionals. This is exciting and is a welcome addition to our NC3 portfolio of nationally industry recognized certifications.”

Along with the Thermo King program, TCAT Elizabethton offers several NC3 certifications like SnapOn, Kubota, Festo and Greenlee to name a few. The school plans to start offering Thermo King certifications early 2024. 

Thermo King is a transport refrigeration company that transports refrigerated products all over the country. The Thermo King certifications offered allow students to learn about the transport refrigeration industry, preventative maintenance, trailer controls and diagnostics and troubleshooting. These are the skills that will set students apart from the rest when they apply to work at a Thermo King Dealer.
