We are excited to share the success of our recent NC3 Greenlee & RIDGID Training held at the Schoolhouse Training Center. This training was conducted by our expert instructors: Greenlee Master Instructor Scottie Carter and RIDGID Master Instructor Mark Wood. We also received invaluable support from our Industry Partner, Tim Kopp, and his team of Subject Matter Expert (SME) Trainers, including John Blakemore and Mike Knapp from Emerson Professional Tools – RIDGID/Greenlee. The event took place from October 16 to 20, 2023, at RIDGE Headquarters in Elyria, Ohio. 

During this training event, participants had the opportunity to earn the following certifications:

3. Basic Conduit Bending
4. Advanced Conduit Bending
5. Fishing Conduits & Raceways
6. Cable Pulling
7. Wire Termination – Branch & Series

9. Insulation and Ground Rod Resistance Testing

RIDGID

1. Manual & Hand-Held Power Threading
2. Power Machine Threading
3. Pressing for HVAC and Plumbing

We are happy to report that participants from several educational institutions joined this event, including Georgia Northwestern Technical College, Structural Steel Fabricating, TCAT Elizabethton, Cleveland State, Electrical Training Alliance – Silicon Valley, and North Dakota State College of Science.

Notable Highlight

Greenlee’s Inaugural Training Success: 
This training session at the Schoolhouse Training Center marked Greenlee’s first-ever class at the Schoolhouse, and these participants were the cohort in experiencing Greenlee training at this facility. The Schoolhouse Training Center now offers both RIDGID and Greenlee courses, expanding its offerings.

Master Instructor Candidates and Certification Development: 

As a result of this professional development initiative, we successfully partnered with a new instructor tasked with creating a new RIDGID certification and a Master Instructor candidate who will shadow at an upcoming RIDGID training at Pima. Furthermore, we had a Master Instructor Candidate for the Greenlee program who conducted training for a couple of certifications and did a fantastic job!
