Manny Rodriguez, NC3 Program Manager for Kubota, attended the recent Kubota Tech Level 2 training event at the Kubota Midwest Division location in Edgerton, KS. The certification offered at this event was SVL – Electrical, and it was the first Train-The-Trainer event with the new SVL curriculum.

Dave Honeycutt [NC3 Master Instructor for Kubota Tech, as well as an instructor for Diesel Powered Equipment Technology at TCAT Elizabethton] was the Master Instructor for this training, and Jeff Wagley from Kubota was also present. Nick and Megan Baughman from Baughman Education Services provided onsite support for the curriculum they had developed. Thomas Giessman of Kubota University provided all the training equipment and gave the group a tour of the facility.

The new curriculum involved more hands-on training in the lab, introduced the new Kubota ACE software, and provided toolboxes with bug kits for instructors to build during the training and keep with them. The training material received positive reviews, and participants appreciated the delivery of the material and the overall experience of this Train-the-Trainer event.
