From August 5 to August 9, the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) proudly hosted the NC3 Festo Professional Development event at its state-of-the-art Advanced Manufacturing Center. This event brought together 44 instructors from 12 different states, offering them cutting-edge training in 13 distinct topics, designed to enhance their skills in the ever-evolving world of advanced manufacturing and technical education.

In addition to the robust professional development curriculum, Festo Didactic’s leadership team from North America held strategic meetings at CCAC’s Festo Center of Excellence. Representatives from the United States, Canada, and Mexico were present, contributing to a collaborative environment. These meetings fostered valuable interactions between Festo leadership, participating instructors, CCAC staff, and NC3 representatives.

This unique gathering not only advanced the professional development of educators but also strengthened ties between international leaders and local technical education experts, further reinforcing CCAC’s position as a hub for manufacturing innovation and education.
